Mechanical permits are required for all mechanical work, except for repairs.

Application Submission
All permit applications are taken between the hours of 8:00 and 4:00, Monday through Friday in the Code Administration Office on the third floor of City Hall.
Mechanical permit applications may be submitted online, mailed, faxed, in person APPOINTMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED or placed in the City Hall drop box along with the appropriate fee.
Licenses & Applications
All heating, air, and ventilation work must be performed by State-licensed technicians. Only licensed technicians may secure mechanical permits.

Inspection Requests
Once a permit has been issued and work requiring inspection has been completed, the contractor shall use the City's online inspection request portal to request an inspection.
