Fairgrounds Park is the City's largest active recreation park, offering many sports-related activities. Thousands attend our annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration and our Harvest Hoedown. In addition, the City hosts community yard sales in the stables behind the Grandstand.
Owners are allowed to walk their dogs around Fairgrounds Park in accordance with the Parks & Recreation Division's Dog Policy, and in areas designated for dog walking as shown on the Fairgrounds Park Dog Walking Map.
Information on renting pavilions, playing fields, or other park facilities can be found on the Facility Rental Overview page. Use of this park must conform to the City's Park Rules & Regulations.
