ADA Transition Plan

The City of Hagerstown is committed to fulfilling the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, To that end, the City is in the process of evaluating its existing sidewalk and handicap access ramp system, and identifying locations where these facilities do not meet current ADA standards.  This process will be ongoing, and will lead to a schedule of planned improvements to bring the City into compliance with ADA standards over multiple years.
