Fast Track Permitting

The City of Hagerstown can expedite plan review very quickly, provided complete sets of signed and sealed plans are included with the permit and the contractor has up-to-date licensing with the City. If any State reviews are required, the City coordinates with State agencies and encourages their fast-tracking.  

City staff is available to meet with applicants and discuss projects ahead of time to help both of us learn what is involved with reusing the property and what permitting may be required. We are also available to walk through the property with the prospective buyer to discuss any code issues that might be observed, any planned alterations for the new use, and any code issues that may come into play.
