The Board of Traffic and Parking is a five-member advisory panel to the Mayor & City Council and City staff. The Board reviews matters pertaining to parking and traffic issues in Hagerstown.
The City of Hagerstown is currently accepting applications from interested individuals to fill an open position on the Board. The City prefers that interested applicants have experience in traffic management, law enforcement, leadership in neighborhood groups, or engineering. However, these skills are not required.
Applicants must be residents, taxpayers, or those who conduct business in Hagerstown.
The Board of Traffic and Parking meets on the second Thursday of each month at 4pm. Meetings generally last about an hour.
Citizens interested in serving on this committee may complete an application and return it to the City Clerk. Applications are available from the City Clerk’s office. Call 301-739-8577, ext. 113, or visit www.hagerstownmd.org. Staff will provide a list of interested citizens to the City Council for their ultimate decision.
