City of Hagerstown Parks & Recreation is partnering again this year with
the Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum to present Railroad Heritage Days. The
new twist on this traditional family-friendly, entertaining event for train
lovers of all ages is that Railroad Heritage Days will be celebrated one
Saturday of each month through August. Starting May 18, there will be a
different fun theme to enjoy and each guest will receive a new souvenir ticket
with their purchase to be punched at both sites for admission.
Prices: Adults: $5 … Children (ages 4-12): $1 … Toddlers (ages 3 and under): Free. Visitors may make their admission purchases in advance at either site: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 296 South Burhans Boulevard or the City Park Train Hub, 525 Highland Way.

City of Hagerstown has long been referred to as the “Hub City” because of its
location as the intersection of numerous transportation routes that run to and
through it. When looking at Hagerstown on the map, the convergence of the
transportation routes appear to resemble spokes of a wheel with the City at the
central “hub” where they meet. Railroad Heritage Days at the City Park
Train Hub and Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum is the event through which all participants
