Haunted Happenings Inhabit City Park

A showcase of spooky haunted happenings kicks off this weekend in Hagerstown City Park. Guided outdoor evening ghost tours, with two different experiences to try, are offered in the month of October.

Hager House Ghost Tours: Oct. 16, 22, 23, & 31 at 7pm & 8pm

Experience the dark and eerie quiet surrounding the historic 18th century home of town founder, Jonathan Hager. Get a glimpse of at what life was like for those who lived and died at this legendary location with candlelit windows and lantern-toting tour guides leading you around the historic house and museum. History to life (or back to life) through haunted legends surrounding this limestone colonial fortress built over a never failing spring! $8/person pre-registered (recommended) or $10 on-site.

Paranormal Train Ghost Tours: Oct. 22, 23, & 31 at 7pm & 8pm

Visit the grounds of the City Park Train Hub and head out with Oculus Paranormal Team among the historic retired rail cars and steam locomotive engine 202, for a nightly investigation demonstrating the use of actual ghost-hunting equipment. This is for those who want to create their own ghost stories. $15 pre-registered, or $20 on-site.
