City Park Fall Fest

Celebrate the fusion of arts, entertainment, and history on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11:00 am - 3:00 p.m. at the annual City Park Fall Fest event in Hagerstown. 

Enjoy free, fun family activities including pony rides, museum tours, art activities and recreation opportunities. 

Partnered with the South End Block Party, we encourage everyone to come out and see what is going on! Visit all the activities spread across 6 sites in the park. See activities listed below to learn more!

Free Fun Activities for Everyone!

Jonathan Hager House: living history, tours, native dance (11am & 1pm), pony rides and petting zoo!

Museum Drive Area: Food & Craft Vendors & more! (See vendor list below)

City Park Train Hub: Tommy 202 rides, balloons, and circus performers!

Washington County Fine Arts Museum: kid's activities & games, art exhibits, book signing, and celebration of 90 years of the MFA with cupcakes and coffee!

Mansion House Art Center: art supplies for kids, painting on the porch, and open art gallery!

South End Block Party: games, music, free resources, and more! Visit the Block Party Facebook event for updates!

Please be aware that various sites and museums throughout the park may require masks in their indoor spaces. Remember to socially distance and be mindful of COVID policies at each site.

Monarch Butterfly Parade 

Saturday, September 18, 11:00 a.m. 

Register Online (Activity #7395) FREE

Children of all ages are invited to come dressed up in a butterfly costume or as any pollinator (bees, birds, and bugs) to parade down the Cultural Trail to the Hager House in City Park for an educational and interactive presentation by The Monarch Alliance, in partnership with the Discovery Station.
