The Western Maryland Blues Fest had a successful 23-year long run. It is now evolving into a larger signature music and arts event that will fully debut in 2020, coinciding with the conclusion of Hagerstown’s Urban Improvement Project (UIP), an 18-month construction project consisting of enhancements to portions of downtown that will expand art, events, and education venues.
While there will be music/arts programming in 2019, it will not be solely Blues music.
