Potterfield Pool

The Potterfield Pool will open for the 2016 season starting Saturday, May 28, 2016.  Weekday public swim hours ARE LONGER THIS YEAR from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Weekend public swims are from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Starting the week of August 21st, the pool will be open for public swim on the weekends only. Make every weekend count! The pool will be open for the last day of the season on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th.

Community Pool Services will return to mange the pool after a very successful 2015 season. The Claude M. Potterfield Pool is a City-owned outdoor swimming pool adjacent to Staley Park. The pool features a double tube slide, The Slidewinder water slide, and a children’s “splashpad” or "sprayground.” Swimming lessons, conducted by the professional staff at Community Pool Services, Inc., are available. The Potterfield Pool can be rented for private pool parties weekdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or weekends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

To reserve the pool, click request form. Once completed and approved you will receive a ticket from “Eventbrite” for payment within 48 hours.

The 2015 Daily Rates are as follows:

 Seniors (Age 62+)

*Family is defined as 1 or 2 adults and their unmarried dependents - natural, adopted, or foster children - who permanently reside at the address set forth on the pool pass application form. Children must be 18 years of age and under or their legal dependents. The family rate applies for up to 5 members and an application must be completed. Season passes can only be used during daytime public swim times.
