Overview
The Department of Community and Economic Development serves to advance the economy, image and quality of life in Hagerstown. The department includes varied functional areas related to development; including Planning and Zoning, Code Administration, Economic Development, Community Affairs and events, Communications, volunteers, housing, and Community Development. While serving the public in different ways, the department shares a common goal of enhancing community opportunities in an innovative and sustainable way.
