Bandshell
Hagerstown Municipal Band performs at City
Park every Sunday evening June through August 19th. Concerts begin at 7:30
p.m. and are preceded by vesper services. Other performances at the bandshell
include the local gospel singers.
City Park's original Bandshell, built in 1936, has been moved to Wheaton
Park. The current Bandshell was erected in 1960. Park benches seat 500
and picnicers are welcome on the open lawn.
