MONTHLY RATE

Demand Charge
$3.4090 per kilowatt

Reactive Kilovolt-Ampere Charge
$0.2889 per reactive kilovolt-ampere of customer's reactive kilovolt-ampere capacity requirement in excess of 25% of the customer's kilowatt demand.

Energy Charge
First 100,000 kilowatt hours used $.05040 per kilowatt hour

Over 100,000 kilowatt hours used $.04220 per kilowatt hour

MINIMUM CHARGE

$2.572 per kilowatt based on one-half (½) of the highest kilowatt capacity required in the preceding eleven months.

PURCHASE POWER ADJUSTMENT

Adjustment applies to all kilowatt hours served under this schedule.

TERM

One year or longer.

DETERMINATION OF CAPACITY

Kilowatt Demand

Capacity required is the highest metered demand established over a thirty (30) minute interval per billing period but not less than 50 kilowatts.

Kilowatts will be computed to the nearest one-half (½) kilowatt.

Reactive Kilovolt-Ampere Demand

Capacity required is the highest metered demand established over a thirty (30) minute interval per billing period.

Reactive meters will be installed when the customer's kilowatt demand exceeds 200 kilowatts.

Reactive kilovolt amperes will be computed to the nearest one-half (½) reactive kilovolt ampere.

GENERAL

Service supplied is subject to the rules and regulations of the City covering the supply of electric service, and rules and regulations for meter and service installations of the City, as filed with the Public Service Commission.

SUPPLY OF MORE THAN ONE VOLTAGE

The City normally supplies and meters service at one voltage.

When additional voltages are required, the City may provide in addition to the primary voltage, a maximum of two transformer banks, where the customer provides all interconnecting line facilities.

STANDBY AND BREAKDOWN SERVICE SUPPLIED UNDER THIS SCHEDULE

The City will supply auxiliary or breakdown service to customers having other sources of energy supply and who desire to purchase from the City electrical service of not more than 1,000 kilowatts capacity.

In consideration of the City maintaining auxiliary or breakdown service, the customer shall contract for a definite capacity in kilowatts registered over a thirty (30) minute period and for a term of not less than one year.

Should additional capacity be desired by the customer during the term of the contract, written application shall be made to the City sixty (60) days prior to the date such additional capacity is required, and the term of contract shall be automatically extended one year from the date such additional capacity is made available by the City. When the customer establishes a new contracted capacity, such capacity shall be the basis for billing under this clause for twelve consecutive months, and at the end of this twelve month period, the customer shall have the option of increasing or decreasing the contracted capacity.

The minimum monthly charge for auxiliary or breakdown service shall be per kilowatt of contracted capacity.

SPECIAL SERVICE SUPPLIED UNDER THIS SCHEDULE

When the City must install special transformers or other equipment to provide service for welding loads or other highly fluctuating loads, the City shall have the option of measuring the kilowatts and the reactive kilovolt-amperes required by instantaneous meters and fifty percent (50%) of the values so found shall be used in determining the kilowatts and reactive kilovolt-amperes used for billing.
