All plumbing work must be performed by City-licensed plumber. Plumbers are responsible for securing plumbing permits. Permit applications are taken between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30, Monday through Friday in the Engineering and Inspections Department on the third floor of City Hall. Building permits must be applied for in person. Electrical and Plumbing permits may be mailed along with the appropriate fee. Building permits are usually issued within two weeks.
