The Economic Development Office for the City of Hagerstown is pleased and excited to announce that we are compiling an inventory of minority business owners and operators in Hagerstown. This information will allow us to provide assistance in directing incentive program information, and inquiries for minority business owner partnership opportunities to our Hagerstown businesses. By definition a minority business is a business that is 51% owned and operated by a minority.

In the coming months, the City will organize a business luncheon that you will be invited to, along with representatives from the Mayor and Council and representatives of the State’s Office of Minority Business Enterprises and Office of Equity and Economic Empowerment. This luncheon will be to discuss State programs for minority business owners. We encourage you to be a part of this great opportunity by returning the attached form via mail or fax (301.790.3424), or you are welcome to call or stop by my office to register your minority business with our City. We look forward to being of service to you from this day forward, and to gain your insights into the needs of your business.
